The conservation of ‘The Anointing of David’ by the acclaimed Scottish stained glass artist Douglas Strachan 1916.

Conservation measures included writing a condition report, dry and wet cleaning, lead repairs, edge bonding, replica painting, cold painting and framing. 

The panel is now on display as part of the permanent collection at the Stained Glass Museum in Ely Cathedral
